Machine Minder / Operator

Machine Minder / OperatorScantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a global FMCG Packaging manufacturer to recruit two Machine Minders / Operators for their manufacturing teams. These are new roles due to growth and investment and is a fantastic business where you can develop your career through formal qualifications and training. Working in a multi-skilled team, working alongside Technicians and Engineers, your role will be to ensure the smooth running and operation of automated production and manufacturing lines within the factory. Shifts: Continental Days and Nights (2 Days / 2 Nights, 4 off) then with a 10x day break after 3x blocks of shifts. Overtime available (X1.5 / X2) Process / Shift Technician - Summary of core responsibilities: Achieve target reliability on assigned production linesAccurate use of ICONICS to track production performanceAdherence to the SAP Production PlanCompletion of TPM activities on assigned LinesRecord and minimise Spoilage on assigned LineComplete First Line Maintenance on production lineTackle minor breakdowns and escalate when necessary.Manage KANBAN levels of assigned Line(s).Work accurately to SAP Production plan to avoid Under/Over Production.Actively participate in C.I. activities, PPS sessions and Tier meetings.6S Audit Completion of assigned area.Adherence to all Site Safety Policies and Procedures.Reporting of accidents, unsafe conditions and behaviours.Documentation compliance (control plan, pack spec)Able to work both ..... full job details .....
