You will be working in an environment that values technical depth, rigorous research, and practical application of cutting-edge ideas.Key responsibilities include:Designing and optimising deep learning models for real-world performance.Building robust computer vision pipelines for detection, segmentation, and tracking.Combining classical computer vision methods (OpenCV, feature extraction, motion tracking) with modern CNN architectures.Experimenting with advanced detection and segmentation heads to enhance accuracy.Curating, managing, and optimising large datasets for effective training.Applying strong metrics literacy and data science techniques to evaluate and refine models.Contributing to a collaborative research culture, sharing insights and results with peers.Key experience needed:Proven experience in optimising and deploying deep learning models at scale.Expertise in OpenCV and classical computer vision approaches.Strong knowledge of CNN building blocks, training dynamics, and segmentation/detection techniques.Skilled in dataset curation and management for machine learning pipelines.A data-driven approach with excellent skills in metrics and statistical analysis.Passionate about applying computer vision research to solve complex, real-world problems.The role is offering a base salary of £70,000 per annum + a wealth of benefits, including a bonus of up to 100%.
