Job Title: Machine FitterShift: Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 17:00 and Friday 07:45 - 12:30Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Location: Leicestershire, LE8Benefits:Permanent position,Bonus scheme,Free onsite parking,Company pensionInhouse training The Company:A world leader in drilling technology for cooling holes as applied to Jet Engines and Gas Turbines for energy production. The Machine Fitter Role:The Machine Fitter is a key member of the Production Team supporting the build and retrofit of CNC and automated machine systems.The duties include:Building and assembling CNC machinesAligning ball screws, linear railsDisassembly of machines and rebuild with new componentsAll machine and axis alignmentsWorking from engineering drawingsMeeting Environmental, Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements About You:Experience of assembling mechanical assemblies relevant to CNC machine tools including pneumatics, hydraulics and/or pressure-based fluid systems.Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and geometric tolerances.Hand scraping experience is beneficial but not essentialAbility to adapt to changing circumstances, problem resolution and creative thinking skillsEthical and trustworthy.
