As the business continues to invest in new product development, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Machine Design Engineer to play a key role in designing the next generation of innovative industrial machinery.This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges and enjoys taking products from concept through design, testing and launch.Key Tasks:Lead engineering projects from concept through to manufacture and product launch.Design complex electro-mechanical systems and industrial machinery.Develop mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, gear-driven systems, linkages and precision moving components.Produce detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks or Inventor.Carry out engineering analysis including FEA, tolerance stack-ups and design verification.Support prototype development, testing and validation activities.Work closely with manufacturing, operations, suppliers and customers to deliver robust, ..... full job details .....
