Machine Builder / Mechanical Tool Fitter Wolverhampton Ongoing contract Days Overtime availableYolk Recruitment is managing a new ongoing contract opportunity to join a global engineering leader delivering special purpose machine to manufacturing and automotive industries.We''re looking for a Machine Builder / Tool Fitter with experience building special purpose machinery or automated equipment, working from drawings through to finished machine.This is what you''ll be doingBuild and assemble special purpose machinery from engineering drawingsWorking alongside engineering to adapt builds and resolve issues as they ariseCarry out precision fitting, alignment and mechanical assembly workInstall components such as bearings, circlips and mechanical sub-assembliesIdentify and resolve issues during the build processSupport strip, rebuild and modification work where requiredWhat you''ll needExperience building special purpose machinery or automated assembly equipmentAN understanding of adhesives, sealants, lubricants and locking/dowelling systemsStrong mechanical fitting background with an understanding of alignment and tolerancesKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsConfident working independently and solving build problems This is an ongoing contract with consistent work, and opportunity for overtime.
