Location: Ashford
Pay: -12.71 per hour, weekly pay
Hours: Monday to Friday - Early & Late Shifts, between 05:45 and 21:30
Contract: Temporary initially, prospect of becoming permanent for the right person
Start: Immediate
Pay: Weekly

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Assistant to join a busy packaging solutions company based in Ashford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a team.

You will support the smooth running of machinery within the Bindery department, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Checking product quality throughout the production process
• Following production plans and meeting tight deadlines
• Maintaining good attention to detail
• Following company procedures and production requirements

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous machine operating experience - essential
• Good attention to detail
• A high-quality standard in both thinking and working
• The ability to follow a plan and work to tight deadlines
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• Good teamwork skills
• Good communication skills
• A good standard of written and spoken English
• A reliable and hardworking approach
