M and E Manager / Building Services ManagerLocation: ManchesterSalary: Competitive + Excellent PackageA leading Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced MandE Manager / Building Services Manager to join its growing team in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex construction projects across the North West, taking responsibility for the delivery and coordination of mechanical and electrical building services from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.The RoleWorking closely with the Project Director, Construction Manager and wider project team, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of all MandE and building services elements across major construction schemes.Key responsibilities will include: Managing the design, coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services. Reviewing technical designs, specifications and installation proposals. Coordinating MandE subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners. Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Driving procurement, programme and commissioning activities. Working closely with design, commercial and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. Identifying and resolving technical and coordination challenges.
