      <description>Location: Blackburn | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Level 6 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn and Darwen Start Date: September 2026Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PMContract Type: Long-term Veritas Education is working with primary schools across Blackburn and Darwen seeking a confident and capable Level 6 Teaching Assistant to deliver pre-planned lessons across both KS1 and KS2. This role involves leading classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning using work that has already been set. It is well-suited to someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for the classroom and can maintain a focused and positive learning environment. Applicants should have:  A Level 6 Teaching Assistant qualification At least 6 months of classroom experience Experience working across both KS1 and KS2 Confidence delivering lessons and managing whole-class behaviour A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach Strong communication skills and the ability to follow lesson plans effectively  The role will include delivering lessons, managing classroom behaviour, supporting pupils'' understanding of tasks, and providing feedback to teaching staff.
