LV AUTHORISED PERSON (AP) MAJOR HOSPITAL PROJECT Wimbledon, Southwest London 9-Month Contract Tier 1 MEP Contractor We are currently looking for an experienced LV Authorised Person (AP) to join the project team of a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor on a major hospital development based in the Wimbledon area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to become part of a large-scale, technically complex healthcare project, working alongside an established site and engineering team throughout a key stage of the build. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining electrical safety across the project, ensuring all LV works, isolations, switching activities and associated procedures are carried out safely and in line with the project''s Electrical Safety Rules. The Role As the LV Authorised Person, you will be responsible for supporting the safe management and control of the project''s LV electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the designated LV Authorised Person in accordance with the project''s Electrical Safety Rules and procedures. Taking responsibility for the safe isolation, switching and reinstatement of LV electrical systems. Preparing, issuing and managing permits to work, limitation of access and electrical safety documentation.
