Lunchtime Supervisor - Birmingham Location: BirminghamHours: 1.5-2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)Contract: Temporary with the potential for long-term opportunitiesStart Date: ASAP The Supply Register is recruiting Lunchtime Supervisors to work across our partner schools and Multi-Academy Trusts throughout Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in ensuring pupils have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime. The Role As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will: Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both indoors and outdoors. Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive environment. Support pupils while they are eating and encourage good table manners. Assist with playground supervision and help organise activities where appropriate. Deal with minor incidents and report any concerns to school staff. Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils at all times. Work as part of the wider school team to provide a positive lunchtime experience. The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children is desirable but not essential. A caring, patient and approachable nature. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
