Hours: 11:45am – 1:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of one of our partner primary schools in Falmouth for a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team from next week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to help create a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
The RoleAs a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:
Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and on the playground.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive environment.
Support children whilst they are eating and encourage good table manners.
Help supervise play and encourage positive interactions between pupils.
Deal with minor incidents and report any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of pupils at all times.
Work closely with the wider school team to provide a positive lunchtime experience.
Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
A caring, patient and approachable manner.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
As this role is due to start next week, an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is highly advantageous.
Successful applicants must also be able to:
Provide a full employment history covering the last 24 months.
Provide a minimum of two employment references covering the last 24 months (three if you have not previously worked with children).
Complete an Employment History Form covering every month from leaving full-time education.
Provide a character reference to cover any gaps in employment. Character referees must be from a recognised professional occupation, have a work email address, have known you for at least three years and must not be a relative.
Provide proof of right to work in the UK.
Provide two proofs of address, proof of National Insurance and any relevant name change documentation.
Provide an overseas police check if you have lived outside the UK for more than six months.
Complete our free mandatory safeguarding and compliance training.
Weekly pay through PAYE.
Term-time-only working.
Ongoing support from your dedicated Partnership Executive.
