Lunch Time Supervisor

Lunch Time Supervisor - Cannock - Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a reliable and caring Lunch Time Supervisor to join a lovely, friendly school team in Cannock. The successful candidate will help ensure that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and well-supervised lunch break while supporting positive behaviour and wellbeing.

The hours for this Lunch Time Supervisor role are 2 hours per day, however, there is an opportunity to top up hours worked by assisting with the school Wrap-Around Care club both before and after school. You would be expected to cover the 5-day working week within school, working for a reputable supply agency on a temporary basis.

The role includes:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas during lunchtime.
• Encouraging good behaviour and positive social interaction between all pupils.
• Assisting younger children where needed (e.g., opening food packets).
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of all pupils.
• Reporting any incidents or concerns to school staff.
• The ability to communicate well alongside members of staff (this could include reporting injuries to class teachers etc).
• A reliable and punctual staff member.

• Previous experience working within a school environment supporting children.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enhanced DBS.
• Provide 2 references.
• The ability to become part of a friendly school team.
• Good behaviour management, to ensure positive behaviour in the dinner hall/playground and classroom etc.
• Available to start ASAP
• Able to commute to Cannock and surrounding areas daily.
• Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: -13.68 - -14 an hour (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
