This welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dartford is looking for a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with ASD, helping KS1 students build confidence, develop skills, and thrive in their learning environment.

Contract: Full time, long term andndash; September start

Salary: andpound;90 - andpound;110

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 tailored support for students with SEND needs.
• Foster a positive and structured learning environment that encourages engagement.
• Assist with communication, sensory learning, and emotional regulation strategies.
• Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement personalized learning plans.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction.
• Adapt support strategies to help students overcome challenges and succeed.

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or additional learning needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
• Ability to create a safe and engaging learning space.
