Job Description:

• Provideandnbsp;individualised supportandnbsp;to a pupil with additional learning needs, both in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implementandnbsp;targeted strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;support plans
• Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;encouraging, andandnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;environment that promotes independence and confidence
• Support the pupilandrsquo;sandnbsp;academic,andnbsp;social, andandnbsp;emotionalandnbsp;development
• Monitor progress and contribute toandnbsp;review meetingsandnbsp;andandnbsp;IEP updates
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure consistent and effective support

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children withandnbsp;SENDandnbsp;(e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
• Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;individual
• Demonstrate a strong commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive practice, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
• Possess excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;relationship-buildingandnbsp;skills
