Learning Support Assistant - Bromley College Full-Time - ASP to July 2027 Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive education environment, working with learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people and adults by supporting their learning, independence, wellbeing and progression. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to provide tailored support for learners with a range of additional needs. You will help remove barriers to learning, promote independence, and support students to fully engage with their educational programmes and wider college life. Key duties include: Supporting learners within classroom and practical learning environments. Encouraging independence, confidence and self-advocacy skills. Assisting with the implementation of individual support plans and EHCP outcomes. Providing personal care, mobility and wellbeing support where required. Supporting learners to access specialist equipment and assistive technologies. Working closely with curriculum staff, support managers and external agencies. Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusive learning practices. Acting as a First Aider or undertaking First Aid training if required. About You We are ..... full job details .....
