A friendly and inclusive primary school in Harrow is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference-particularly for pupils with additional needs-by providing the encouragement and support they need to flourish in the classroom.
As a LSA, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Work alongside teachers to adapt lessons and activities for different learning needs.
- Monitor progress and share updates with teaching staff and parents.
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
- Assist with behaviour management, classroom organisation, and daily routines.
LSA Requirements:
- Has experience working with children or young people (SEN experience preferred but not essential).
- Brings patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to learning support.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff, pupils, and families.
- Is flexible, proactive, and committed to the needs of the class.
