Lower Secondary Tutor Support Learners During Key Stages 3 and Early Secondary EducationWe''re looking for Lower Secondary Tutors to support children and young people in the DT7 area through personalised 1:1 tuition.Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide tailored support to learners who require alternative educational provision. Many students are working below expected levels, have experienced disruptions to their education, or need additional support to build confidence and re-engage with learning.This is a fantastic opportunity for tutors who enjoy helping students develop strong foundations before progressing into their GCSE years.Location: DT7 AreaKey Stage: Lower Secondary (KS3)Hours: FlexiblePay Rate: 25- 30 per hourType: 1:1 Tuition RequirementsMinimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar rolesExperience supporting secondary-aged learnersStrong knowledge of the KS3 curriculumAbility to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessionsExperience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirableStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPatient, adaptable, and encouraging approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneDriver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the DT7 area Who You''ll SupportYou''ll work with learners who may have:Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Social, ..... full job details .....
