is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy and we have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Low Carbon Consultant / Energy Assessor based within our Nottingham or Leeds Offices.The Role:
The successful candidate will provide technical support, working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team consisting of Buildings Services Designers, Revit Technicians, Building Physicist and Document Controllers. You will be involved with a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors, delivering energy compliance, sustainability, building physics and carbon calculations and assessments from feasibility through to final construction, RIBA stages 0 to 6.Duties will include:
Inform the construction design with regards achieving sustainability, energy and low carbon targetsUsing IES software produce dynamic simulation models to assess building performancesProduce Energy Compliance (BRUKL), CIBSE TM52 and TM54 reportsProduce heat loss/gain, daylighting, and ventilation assessmentsWork collaboratively with our team of Low Carbon Consultants and Design EngineersLead and manage your own workloadAdvising design engineers on BREEAM/Energy/Low Carbon design solutionsUndertaking design and technical submission reviews pertaining to Energy and Carbon compliancesUndertaking site quality and legislative inspections and prepare associated reportsMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standardsQA documents, designs, and drawings prior to issue, to ensure Anderson Green standards are maintainedLiaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff of all levelsAttend client, design team and project meetingsPreferred Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Registered Non-Domestic Energy AssessorLevel 5 IES Energy Assessor – Proficient UserCIBSE Low Carbon ConsultantDegree or HNC/D in relevant subject or equivalentIn-depth Knowledge of Building Regulations Part LGood time management, organized with a flexible attitudeBe a team player, but able to operate at an individual levelBenefits:
