Responsibilities

As Deputy Manager, you will be a key part of the home''s leadership team, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure clinical excellence, lead by example on the floor, and provide mentorship and support to our team of carers and nurses. You will balance your time between delivering hands-on care and overseeing the clinical governance of the home. You will audit care plans, support with training, liaise with external professionals, and step in during emergencies, maintaining residents’ wellbeing as a top priority. You will also build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues to foster a warm, open culture where people feel heard, respected and supported.

This role is ideal for a nurse-qualified leader (RGN / RMN) who is ready to step into a broader leadership position. You might be a Senior Nurse seeking the next step, or an existing Deputy Manager seeking a service where you can make a bigger impact.
