Logistics/Depot Manager

Location: Luton
Salary: -37,000 - -40,000 + benefits

Summary:
This is an exciting time to join a growing company within healthcare logistics. You will ensure the smooth running, health and safety and profitability of the depot where compliance and customer satisfaction are the key drivers. Responsible for the operational management of all the warehouse and distribution functions and leading and motivating a team of c15 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Health and Safety of all staff, contractors and visitors
• Recruit, motivate and appraise a team of warehouse staff and drivers
• Planning and organising the depot workloads
• Managing the financial budgets
• Ensuring full compliance in a regulated environment

Experience:

• In depth knowledge of transport and warehouse operations
• Previous managerial experience
• PC literate
• Financially astute and able to manage budgets and cost control
• Excellent leadership skills
• Customer focused and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Previous temperature controlled distribution preferred
