Logistics TechnicianPay Rate: 13.36 per hourContract: Initially 3 months temporary, with potential for extensionStart Date: ASAPPay Frequency: Weekly or monthlPertemps Isle of Wight are currently recruiting for a Logistics Technician to join our client on a temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stores, Logistics or Inventory professional to join a busy team. The successful candidate will support the management of stock and inventory, including the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods.The RoleReporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the stores and inventory function.Key responsibilities will include:Receiving incoming deliveries and ensuring goods are accurately booked into stockChecking delivery documentation and ensuring all required documentation, including Certificates of Conformance, is receivedCompleting accurate inspection records and reporting supplier performance where requiredSafely packing finished goods and other materials for dispatchEnsuring correct documentation accompanies shipmentsPicking stock against works orders to support production requirementsReceiving internally produced items into stock and carrying out relevant checksMaintaining accurate stock levels and material traceability using SAP B1 and other in-house systemsSupporting stock counts and reconciliation of inventoryMaintaining an organised, safe and tidy stores environmentHelping to ..... full job details .....
