Hours: 37 per week, Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30
Pay Rate: £17.18 per hour
Contract Dates: 6 July 2026 - 31 December 2026
 
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader to provide day-to-day leadership of a busy driver team within the Gloucestershire Equipment Loan Service (GELS). This role is office-based, with attendance required five days per week.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of drivers.
• Plan and allocate workloads effectively.
• Ensure delivery and collection services are completed on time.
• Monitor performance and maintain high service standards.
• Respond to customer queries and support continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and partner organisations.

Essential Experience

• Corporate fleet and logistics management experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing, MOT requirements, and insurance claims.
• Understanding of driver compliance, including speeding and vehicle-related regulations.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
