Logistics Team Leader - Sevenoaks 28,000 - 32,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pmOur client, a reputable company with multiple store locations, is hiring for a dedicated Logistics Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations. This hands-on role involves leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.What you will be doing: Act as the main point of contact for warehouse staff, allocating tasks and supporting team performance. Oversee unloading, inspecting, and logging inbound deliveries, ensuring goods are stored correctly. Lead order picking, packing, and dispatch activities, liaising with couriers to meet delivery deadlines. Promote health and safety compliance, ensuring safe use of equipment and a clean working environment. Support stock management through cycle counts and resolving discrepancies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse processes.What you will bring: Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with leadership or supervisory exposure. Strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team. Good IT skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
