Logistics Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing operation in Telford. In this role, you will take ownership of outbound and inbound logistics, ensuring customer shipments are planned and executed in line with delivery schedules and quality standards. You will also support team development and play a key role in maintaining compliance across shipping, receiving, and customs processes.This position is well suited to someone with strong logistics experience who enjoys leading a team and working in a fast-paced production environment.Schedule Shift: DaysHours: 38 hours per weekOvertime: May be required based on operational demands Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all customer shipments to meet delivery schedules and requirementsEnsure all shipping documentation, labelling, and advance shipping notifications are accurate and compliantOversee goods-in processes, including receiving deliveries and booking stock into systemsCoordinate supplier receipts and manage discrepancies in line with KPIsWork closely with third-party logistics providers to arrange and track shipmentsManage import and export activities, ensuring all customs documentation is accurate and compliantMaintain well-organised records for audit and compliance purposesLead and support the Shipping and Receiving team, driving performance and developmentMonitor inventory handling and ensure alignment with quality and operational standardsInvestigate delivery ..... full job details .....
