Logistics SupervisorWarrington£35,000 + benefits CAST UK is recruiting for a Logistics Team Supervisor to join a growing logistics business based in Warrington.This is a hands-on supervisory position, working closely with the Logistics Team Manager and acting as their deputy when required. You''ll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly, supporting the team, managing customer expectations and ensuring deliveries are completed to a high standard.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operation, from initial booking through to successful delivery.Key responsibilities include:Supervising a busy logistics office and daily network of driversManaging inbound calls, bookings, quotes, customer queries and escalationsOverseeing live deliveries and resolving issues quickly and effectivelyBalancing customer service, inbound sales and driver managementPlanning and managing capacity across drivers and subcontracted partnersSupporting recruitment and onboarding of local courier driversSupervising customer-facing and driver-facing office teamsMonitoring service levels, KPIs and customer satisfactionDeputising for the Logistics Team Manager when requiredAbout YouStrong customer and driver management experienceExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsThe ability to remain calm and decisive under pressureA strong sense of ownership and accountabilityConfident communication skillsExperience using TMS, dispatch or modern logistics ..... full job details .....
