They are looking for an experience Logistics Shift Manager to lead their warehouse, despatch and transport teams. Role and responsibilities of the Logistics Shift Manager: Leading a team of around 30 people across the warehouse, despatch and transport teamsSetting goals and targets for the shift, ensuring teams are motivated and engagedSupporting risk assessments, SSoW, full compliance of HandS standardsManage staff attendance, performance, recruitment, trainingLooking at warehouse stocks, losses, wastage, labour costs, CI initiativesMake sure all goods are prepared, loaded, secured and documented Knowledge, skills and experience needed to be the Logistics Shift Manager: Must be an experienced coach and leaderExperienced in managing a team in a busy warehouse and despatch operationsIdeally have worked off the back of a busy manufacturing environmentStrong man-management experience - able to hold people accountable, build relationships, set goals and targets, provide training and supportIdeally CPC qualifiedKnowledge of warehouse stock control, losses, wastageHigh attention to detail, with a safety first approachDesirable - ..... full job details .....
