Logistics Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Logistics Operator for a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area.Duties:-Prepare manual or scanned entry packing lists. Prepare orders for dispatch. Prepare weekly stock checks. Ensure all orders are ordered and booked accurately. Accountable for looking after customer''s specific requirements. Produce and send packing lists to customers.Ensure customer record reporting is kept up to date at all times and effective customer communication is maintained. Arrange deliveries for storage accounts. Create monthly invoices for storage accounts. Record stock locations and work closely with Warehouse Assistants to ensure goods are correctly located. Manage Key Accounts where required. Propose new ideas to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Skills Needed:-Previous experience within logistics or warehouse operations. Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures. Strong organisational and administrative skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills.
