Logistics Operative - Motorsport

Expleo is supporting a high-performance engineering client within the motorsport sector and is seeking a Logistics Operative to join a focused inventory reduction project. This role is key to improving warehouse efficiency through accurate stock identification, auditing, and controlled removal of obsolete or excess parts.Role OverviewYou will support the wider logistics team in reducing overall inventory levels by identifying, counting, and managing stock within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes hands-on involvement in cycle counting, stock movements, and general warehouse housekeeping.Key ResponsibilitiesPhysically locate and identify parts as directed by the logistics team and production managementConduct cycle counts on identified stock and verify storage locationsRecord and report part quantities and location data for audit documentationSupport inventory reduction through safe and compliant removal of parts into designated waste streamsAssist with general warehouse clean-up and organisationReallocate stock into correct warehouse locations as directedCarry out additional cycle counts as required by the logistics team leaderSkills and ExperienceExperience using SAP or similar ERP systemsBackground in the automotive or motorsport sector, with basic knowledge of vehicle componentsPrevious experience working in a warehouse or logistics environmentStrong attention to detail - critical for success in this roleMethodical and calm approach to tasksClear and ..... full job details .....
