Logistics Operative

Our client, based in 2 miles away from the main site (SS14), are seeking to recruit a Logistics Operative on a temporary contract working 37 hours per week.The purpose of this role is to:To work within the Logistics Team to complete daily operational tasks supporting the efficient movement, storage, and control of materials through the logistics hub. The role ensures business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, maintaining high levels of accuracy, quality, and compliance with business processes.Key Responsibilities:Accurately perform picking, put-away, and stock relocation activitiesControl and process incoming goods receipts in line with proceduresConduct perpetual inventory and cycle count checks to maintain stock accuracyPack deliverable items to required quality standardsReceive and process customer repair returnsEnsure full inventory accuracy and batch traceability at all timesOperate in accordance with SAP and local Standard Operating ProceduresSupport inter-site transportation of materialsMaintain clean, safe, and organised working areas and follow all HandS requirementsEssential attributes:Experience in logistics, warehousing, retail logistics or stock managementPrevious use of SAP or similar ERP system for logistics transactionsClean UK driving licenceDesirable attributes:Certified to operate forklift and reach truckCertified to operate pallet stacker truck and MEWPKnowledge of best-practice warehousing processes and inventory controlsGiven the ..... full job details .....
