As the operational backbone of our Data Center logistics team, you’ll direct the flow of materials, equipment, and inventory through shifting priorities, anticipate and resolve challenges before they escalate, and build resilient systems that adapt as fast as the business does.You’ll need the strategic ability to sketch a high-level vision for the future and the analytical acumen to translate that vision into an executable plan. You’ll partner extensively with infrastructure, supply chain, safety, security, finance and customer teams as the business scales while ensuring day-to-day excellence.You’ll provide technical guidance, professional advice and developmental training to your team, while leading logistics improvement initiatives across the East cluster. This role focuses on managing complex operations, executing change initiatives, and ensuring strong coordination between local teams and global stakeholders.You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will oversee operations across multiple sites and ensure the efficient, compliant, and secure flow of materials, parts, and equipment within our logistics network.You will manage daily inbound and outbound activities, monitor inventory accuracy, and coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and procurement teams to ensure service level commitments are consistently met.You will serve as the primary point of contact for logistics operations across the cluster, coordinating scheduling, shipment planning and cross-site issue resolution. This includes overseeing the execution of shipments between locations, supervising on-site activities such as receiving, unpacking, and verifying contents, and ensuring that all workspaces maintain the highest standards of safety, order, and compliance.In this management role, you will provide direction and resource planning for your team, define and track performance metrics, and drive accountability across sites. You will lead change management initiatives and project rollouts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes. By collaborating with internal partner teams—including infrastructure, supply chain, safety, security, finance, and customer teams—you will align local operations with global priorities and business objectives.You will play an active role in operational improvement by identifying bottlenecks through root cause analysis, recommending and implementing targeted process changes, and championing initiatives that deliver measurable efficiency gains, reduce waste, and strengthen overall performance across the cluster.This position involves occasional trips across the cluster.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years in logistics and supply chain with proven management responsibility.2+ years leading teams, including performance management, coaching, and resource allocation.Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple sites or functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using metrics and root cause analysis to drive improvements.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Familiarity with data center logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and equipment lifecycle management.Formal certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent continuous improvement methodology.Proven track record implementing Kaizen, Lean, or other structured continuous improvement programs.Strong ability to collaborate with global teams and translate strategic goals into local execution.Experience managing compliance in regulated or high-security environments (e.g., data centers, critical infrastructure, manufacturing).Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
