Logistics Manager Location: Stockton-on-Tees,Contract Type: Full-Time, PermanentWorking Pattern: 5 Days Over 7 (including weekends and bank holidays as required)Reports To: Business Owners Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy logistics company in Stockton-on-Tees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of all transport, and distribution activities while maintaining exceptional service standards for key customers, including major retail and e-commerce partner The Logistics Manager will drive operational excellence, manage on road performance, lead and develop teams, and ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved while maintaining full compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee the daily running of the fleet, ensuring efficient distribution operations. Manage on road logistics to meet customer delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full, meeting agreed service levels. Monitor team / individual performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Manage fleet resources effectively to maximise productivity and minimise operational costs.
