Logistics Manager - CongletonOn behalf of our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation, we are seeking an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Planning and Operations Manager, this role is responsible for managing all site logistics activities, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and exceptional service delivery to internal stakeholders and customers. Key Responsibilities Manage all logistics operations including goods-in, goods-out, warehousing, and shipping activitiesEnsure safe, compliant, and efficient material flow across the siteDeliver operational excellence through standardised processes and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with departmental objectivesManage warehouse operations, ensuring optimal layout, stock accuracy, and efficient storage solutionsOversee import/export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, Export Control, and ITAR (where applicable)Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and third-party logistics providersMonitor and report on key KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, cost, and productivityImplement robust stock control processes including cycle counting, discrepancy investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsLead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary logistics and stores teamPromote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with all site standards Qualifications and Experience Degree ..... full job details .....
