Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the project Logistics and Traffic Management Plans. Manage site access, deliveries, loading/unloading areas and material distribution. Coordinate cranes, hoists, forklifts and other logistics plant. Plan logistics requirements against the construction programme and short-term look-aheads. Manage logistics subcontractors, traffic marshals, hoist drivers and site logistics operatives. Coordinate site establishment, welfare, security, signage and pedestrian routes. Manage waste removal, housekeeping and material storage. Ensure vehicle and pedestrian movements are safely controlled and segregated. Coordinate logistics requirements with construction managers, package managers and subcontractors. Identify upcoming logistics constraints and implement solutions before they affect programme.
