Role Overview

MG Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to support operational activity at our Bristol site for a two-week period. The role will involve overseeing daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination of transport, warehouse, and supply chain activities, and maintaining a high level of service delivery during a peak period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation.

  • Oversee warehouse processes, stock movements, and order fulfilment.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate schedules, vehicle routing, and resource allocation.

  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.

  • Monitor performance metrics and provide status updates to management.

  • Support temporary staff and ensure clear communication across the team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of transport planning and warehouse systems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing situations.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with logistics/ERP software and MS Office tools.

  • Immediate availability from October 20th, 2025 for a 2-week assignment.

  • Contract Type: Temporary (2 weeks)

  • Hours: Full-time, flexible to operational needs

  • Location: On-site at Bristol BS4 3EH
