We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to take full responsibility for logistics operations, stock management, and supply chain coordination. This is a key role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete logistics management, including planning, forecasting, liaising with suppliers, warehouses, transport, and customs.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of products at all times.
- Work with Marketing to agree sales forecasts and set purchase forecasts in line with manufacturing timescales.
- Manage supplier and pre-wholesaler relationships to ensure value for money and excellent customer service.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on stock, sales, and supply chain performance.
- Manage incoming logistics queries via the UK logistics mailbox.
- Coordinate weekly SAP uploads and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Collate and file delivery paperwork, including customs documentation, invoices, and certificates of analysis.
- Liaise closely with Finance on stock quantities, claims, deliveries, and destructions.
- Present monthly demand review updates to internal and corporate colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- Quick learner, efficient, and results-driven.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (ERP system experience desirable but not essential).
- Proven track record in logistics and stock management.
- Previous experience working with ERP systems (advantageous).
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- A self-starter with a ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to deliver results.
