Logistics Manager

Are you an experienced Logistics Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a fast-paced distribution and warehousing operation within a successful food manufacturing business?

We''re seeking a driven and commercially minded Logistics Manager to oversee the end-to-end logistics function, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time whilst maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance and operational excellence.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for warehousing, transport, inventory management and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

The Role

As Logistics Manager, you will lead the logistics operation, ensuring customer requirements are met while driving efficiency, productivity and cost control throughout the network.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing all warehouse, dispatch and transport activities
• Leading and developing logistics and warehouse teams to achieve operational targets
• Ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and in full (OTIF)
• Driving improvements in service levels, stock accuracy and operational efficiency
• Managing third-party logistics providers and transport partners
• Monitoring and controlling logistics budgets and costs
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and transport regulations
• Developing and reporting on key logistics KPIs
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across logistics operations
• Collaborating with Production, Planning, Supply Chain and Customer teams to ensure seamless operations

About You

We''re looking for a highly organised logistics professional who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You''ll ideally have:

• Proven experience in a Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, Distribution Manager or Supply Chain leadership role
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, transport and distribution operations
• Experience managing large teams and driving performance
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of food industry compliance, health & safety and quality standards
• A track record of delivering operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives
