Logistics HGV Driver

Pay: £38,915.00 per year Job Description: Overview Nationwide Vehicle Assistance are seeking to employ a dedicated and detail-oriented HGV Logistics Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of vehicles within our operations. This position requires a blend of driving expertise, good geographical knowledge of London and effective communication skills to facilitate smooth logistical processes. The role involves operating a Class 2 of Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies, ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company professionally on the road and at designated delivery points. This can be for either a Day Shift (6am- 16:30pm) or Night Shift 6pm-4am or 8pm-6am) Monday- Friday (No Weekends) This position will be on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate. Nationwide Vehicle Assistance Group covers a wide area of London, however you will be based at our Brentwood Depot. Due to the high level of security involved in this role, applicants must hold a current, clean DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. The chosen applicant must hold a full, clean UK Category C (Class 2) licence, along with a valid Driver CPC .
