A Logistics / FLT Operative position is available in Warrington, offering £15.06 to £18.36 per hour on a full-time, temporary basis. This ongoing role requires an experienced FLT driver to support a busy manufacturing operation. Key duties include safe loading and unloading of vehicles, moving stock and materials across the site, and managing high-bay storage. Full training is provided, with pay rising to parity rates after twelve weeks. Immediate starts are available for candidates with a valid FLT licence who can work shifts, including a shift allowance for certain hours. This is a long-term temporary contract with a leading global manufacturer.

- £15.06 per hour (Days) increasing up to Up to £18.36 per hour (Shift Allowance)
- Pay increases to parity rates after 12 weeks
Pertemps are recruiting Logistics /FLT Operatives to support a busy manufacturing operation in Warrington.
These are ongoing temporary opportunities with immediate starts available for experienced FLT drivers looking for long-term work with excellent rates of pay.
Duties of the successful Logistics / FLT Operative
You'll play a key role in supporting the manufacturing operation, with duties including:
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Moving stock and materials throughout the site
- High-bay storage and stock put-away
- Supplying production lines with materials
- Completing warehouse transactions using SAP and handheld systems
- Working safely within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Shift Pattern
Successful candidates must be flexible to work a 3-shift rotating pattern:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- 10:00pm – 6:00am
Flexibility is essential to support operational requirements.
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (preferred) or a Reach Truck licence
- Recent, hands-on FLT operating experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Good IT and numeracy skills
- A strong awareness of health and safety
- A reliable, positive and flexible approach to work
- Recently expired or inhouse licences also considered
