Logistics Coordinator NewportSalary: £32,000 + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits Yolk Recruitment is supporting a leading global manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of a Logistics Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team based in Newport. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Logistics, Transport or Supply Chain professional to join a busy manufacturing environment, coordinating customer orders and deliveries across the UK and internationally. You''ll work closely with hauliers, Production, Warehouse and Customer Service teams to ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time. You''ll also take ownership of delivery issues and delays, keeping customers informed and working quickly to resolve problems. This role would suit someone highly organised, confident communicating with customers and suppliers, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is what you''ll be doing As Logistics Coordinator, you''ll support the day-to-day movement of customer orders from the Newport manufacturing site, working closely with Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Quality and external transport providers to ensure orders are processed and dispatched safely, efficiently and on time. Your responsibilities will include: Processing customer orders received through SAP, ensuring shipping and logistics requirements are progressed accurately and within required timescales.
