Logistics CoordinatorA well-established and expanding manufacturer within the chemical sector is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support its transport and distribution activities at an office-based site in Greater Manchester.This is a varied operational role, ideal for someone with experience in logistics or freight coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.Salary and Working PatternSalary: £28,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)Location: Greater ManchesterHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmWork Arrangement: Fully office basedThe RoleReporting to the Transport Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will manage the daily flow of outbound and inbound movements, ensuring transport is planned efficiently and documentation is handled accurately. The role involves close interaction with hauliers, internal teams and customers to ensure service levels are consistently met.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and coordinate site visitors and delivery driversArrange transport bookings and oversee shipments from initial quote through to completionPrepare and process shipping, freight and delivery documentationSchedule and track inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring adherence to agreed timelinesManage import/export paperwork and maintain compliance with relevant regulationsMaintain accurate logistics records and ensure documentation is current and completeRespond to customer and supplier queries, resolving issues professionally and efficientlyRecord, ..... full job details .....
