Logistics Coordinator

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Co-ordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of materials, equipment and finished goods from suppliers through to customer sites, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, on time and within budget.Working closely with Project Managers, customers, suppliers and third-party logistics providers, you will play a key role in planning transport, monitoring shipments, resolving delivery issues and maintaining accurate logistics records. This is a varied position that requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service. Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics Planning and Transport CoordinationPlan and coordinate domestic and international transport for customer orders, project deliveries and supplier collections.Arrange cost-effective transportation using approved logistics providers, ensuring deliveries meet project timescales.Schedule deliveries to customer sites in collaboration with the Project Management team.Coordinate collections and deliveries while ensuring efficient vehicle utilisation and transport planning.Monitor transport costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure.
