About the Role
Based in Lichfield, this Logistics Coordinator position is offered by Pertemps Walsall Industrial on a full-time, temporary basis at £13.40 per hour. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, the successful candidate will support daily transport operations by assisting drivers and resolving transport exceptions cost-effectively. Duties include communicating activity and service updates across the business, planning efficient routes to maximise delivery performance, and preparing schedules, loading manifests and vehicle-loading plans. The postholder will also identify future logistics needs and escalate resource or capacity concerns. Applicants should demonstrate strong planning, communication and problem-solving abilities, with a good understanding of transport operations and delivery performance.
