Logistics Coordinator

We re looking for a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Oakham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems on the fly, and making sure goods and materials get where they need to be efficiently and on time. You ll play a key role in coordinating daily logistics activity, working closely with suppliers, customers, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end operation. What you ll be doing Coordinating and overseeing day-to-day logistics operations Managing shipments and optimising transport routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness Monitoring delivery performance and reporting on key KPIs Analysing logistics data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Communicating confidently with suppliers, customers, and 3PL providers regarding shipment updates and issue resolution Ensuring full compliance with UK transport regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies Providing a high level of customer service and professional telephone support at all times Supporting continuous improvement across logistics and supply chain processes What we re looking for Previous experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, or a similar coordination role (preferred) Confident communicator with excellent phone manner and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical ability with confidence working with data and ..... full job details .....
