Logistics and Planning SupervisorLocation: Northallerton Contract: 12 Month FTC / Day Rate Considered, c£42,000 Start Date: Immediate Start AvailableWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics and Planning Supervisor to join a well-established industrial business operating across the food and health and beauty sectors. The business specialises in importing, repackaging, and distributing products across a national customer network.This is a hands-on management role, responsible for supervising the Logistics and Planning team and ensuring all activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with operational and business objectives. Working on-site five days per week, you will manage a team of coordinators while overseeing daily planning, freight activity, customer requirements, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising the day-to-day activities of the Logistics and Planning teamManaging daily and weekly workloads across multiple operating divisionsCoordinating transport routes, fleet utilisation, and resource planningManaging relationships with third-party logistics providersSupporting SandOP and forward planning activityEnsuring customer orders and KPIs are achieved in fullManaging team performance, training requirements, and daily operational activityLeading daily team briefs and supporting cross-functional coordinationMonitoring operational performance, reporting, and process improvementsSupporting compliance, audits, HandS, and ..... full job details .....
