Role: Logistics and Customer Order AdministratorLocation: OtleySalary: £29,000 paHours: Monday - Friday - Full time About the Role Our client, a long established global specialist manufacturer based in Otley, is seeking an experienced and self motivated Logistics and Customer Order Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and proactive service to customers, ensuring that orders, enquiries and deliveries are processed efficiently and in line with company standards and procedures.Key Responsibilities of the Logistics and Customer Order Administrator:Respond to customer enquiries efficiently, ensuring clear and timely communication.Process customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely fulfilment.Arrange transportation for outbound shipments in line with customer specifications.Issue order acknowledgements to customers within agreed timeframes.Maintain accurate and up to date data across all relevant IT systems.Liaise with planning and other internal departments to provide updates on order status.Generate despatch notes as required to support timely deliveries.Proactively escalate any issues to minimise disruption to the customer and the business.Ensure all compliance and shipping documentation is accurate and complete.Raise and issue customer invoices as required.Regularly review open orders to ensure timely despatch and minimise stockholding.Approve invoices for payment.Skills and Experience ..... full job details .....
