Your new role
Working as a Logistics & Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating incoming container shipments from various overseas suppliers, dealing with supplier payments, liaising with freight forwarders and customs agents and tracking shipment progress. You''ll work closely with the Account Managers across the business to ensure that orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet customer demands. You''ll forge strong relationships with the freight forwarders. This is a fast-moving role working for one of the UK''s leading companies in this field.
What you''ll need to succeed
You''ll have relevant experience of working in similar logistics, shipping, import / export capacity. This is a fully office-based role in the Cardiff area with an immediate start available for the successful candidate. You''ll be a problem solver that is capable of managing a busy inbox. You''ll work with key internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. You''ll have a keen eye for detail and understand the nuances of importing and exporting from countries all over the globe and the associated shipping / VAT documentation required.
What you''ll get in return
This is a temporary role to start ASAP for a duration of 4-6 months. This is a fully office-based role in the Cardiff area. Salary is based on experience, -28,000 - -35,000 FTE. This is a great opportunity to work for a market-leading organisation working with global household brands.
