Unsworth is an award-winning independent freight forwarder, delivering innovative global logistics solutions through exceptional people and industry-leading technology. As we continue to grow, we''re looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our Scottish branch.

In this varied role, you''ll provide administrative support to our operations team, helping ensure international shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent service to customers and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate bookings and assist with transport arrangements by sea, air and road.
  • Prepare and check shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices and customs paperwork.
  • Update and maintain accurate shipment information within our freight management system.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partners regarding shipments and deliveries.
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with preparing quotations and following up customer requests.
  • Ensure records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team.

About you:

  • Previous experience in an office administration role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience within the logistics, shipping or supply chain sector is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
