Logistics Administrator

We’re hiring for a Logistics Administrator to join a growing manufacturing business in Stockport,

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career (particularly a graduate) who’s organised, proactive and keen to get stuck into the day-to-day running of a busy production environment.

What will you be doing as a Logistics Administrator?

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the production department
• Booking and coordinating deliveries, collections, and shipments
• Liaising with customers, hauliers, and internal teams
• Managing production schedules and ensuring jobs are ready to run
• Preparing and processing despatch paperwork and documentation
• Updating stock levels and systems (including Sage)
• Supporting warehouse and dispatch operations when required
• Handling order processing and general admin tasks
• Problem-solving and keeping production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment

What will you need?

• Previous admin experience in a warehouse/industrial environment
• Sage 200 experience advantageous
• Confident communication skills (phone and email)
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
