Logging and Inventory Engineer

Job Title: Logging andamp; Inventory Engineer6 month contract/Glasgow based/Inside IR35 *Must have hands on GCP experience.*ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain logging, monitoring and inventory management solutions across multiple cloud platforms.Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and significantly reduce manual processes.Build, maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.Develop and maintain scripts and tooling using Python and Shell Scripting to support cloud operations and automation.Support cloud engineering activities across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Drive continuous improvements in cloud observability, monitoring and operational reporting.Manage and optimise containerised workloads, including those running on Kubernetes and other containerisation technologies, where required.Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to improve cloud governance, compliance and operational controls.Support cloud asset discovery, inventory management and configuration management initiatives across the multi-cloud estate.Contribute to the evolution of cloud-native monitoring and observability practices within the organisation.Essential SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.Proven experience delivering logging, monitoring and inventory management solutions within cloud environments.Strong Python ..... full job details .....
