Locum Senior Information Governance Officer - Full-Time - Remote Working - 6 Month Initial Contract - Up to £45 per hour umbrella Venn Group''s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Senior Information Governance Officer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Information Governance professional to join a friendly and welcoming team. The Role:Locum Senior Information Governance Officer Duration: Initial 6 months with potential extensions thereafter Working Pattern: Full Time, Remote working Rate: Up to £45 per hour umbrella Start: ASAP start date Role Responsibilities: Managing the information governance function and overseeing an information Governance Officer Coordinating responses to data breaches and dealing with contentious and complex Subject Access Requests and FOI Candidate Requirements: Proven experience working within Information Governance, ideally within Local Government or the public sector Strong working knowledge of Data Protection legislation, FOI and SAR processes Experience advising on DPIAs, ROPA and information risk management frameworks Ability to provide clear, practical advice and manage a varied workload independently For further information, or to apply for this position, please contact Philippa Stoate or Ebby Vallance on , or via email at .
